I met Dr. Wesley Wallace when Kathy and I moved to Punta Gorda Isles after living aboard our cruising catamaran for several years. Wes is a retired orthopedic surgeon and past staff model HMO medical director. He also sailed a multihull so we had interests in common. When I decided to write Creative Design for Healthcare Reform, I recruited Wes as both an editor and contributor. He helped keep me on track as the manuscript was being written and contributed the Foreword presented below.
