Beta Kubota


	Kubota based marine engines are my first choice for the “Ideal Motorsailor” because of their weight to torque ratio and horsepower range. As the Ideal Motorsailor is designed to be very light and have a maximum speed of 25 knots, the Mid Range diesels in the Beta Marine line will work well. The Large 6 cylinder engines become very heavy.
